A Visual Trip to Taipei

Taipei is the capital of Taiwan, known for its bamboo-shaped Taipei 101 skyscraper. Among its most notable attractions are National Palace Museum (which houses 700,000 pieces of ancient Chinese imperial artifacts and artworks), Yangmingshan National Park, Lungshan Temple (built in the 1700’s to honor Buddhist & Taoist deities), Shilin Night Market (possibly the most vibrant night market in the world), Tamsui Fisherman’s Wharf (a scenic Asian Venice style habour), the Xiangshan or Elephant Mountain…

But of course, the most famous and worthy-of-exploration element in Taipei is its food, as noted by many Hollywood celebrities and tourists world-wide.
